Playing music and understanding it go together. Your teacher balances songs with technique and theory at a level that makes sense for you.
Beginners work on holding and tuning the guitar, first chords, rhythm, strumming and simple songs. The aim is to make each new skill useful from the start.
Experienced players can refine technique, explore fingerpicking and soloing, learn complete songs, and connect scales and theory to the styles they enjoy.
Work toward jamming, songwriting or performing. Student showcases offer a goal to practise for and a chance to build confidence sharing your music.
