Beginner/Intermediate Song Challenge - "Danger Zone " - Kenny Loggins (from Top Gun)

‍This month's song challenge is a movie classic and became famous in part because of the original Top Gun movie staring Tom Cruise from 1986. This song features mostly power chords. There is a pretty good 80's style solo here too! ​​Take the challenge and learn this song all of the way through by memory to full speed.

Tuning

The album version has the guitar tuned down a half step to Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb, however, to keep things simple I have kept my guitar in standard tuning and all supporting materials for this lesson are also in standard tuning. If you want to play along with the real song you will have to tune down 1 half step or key up the song in a program like Anytune Pro+.
