Are you a fan of Against Me? This week’s featured artist is their front woman, Laura Jane Grace!

Born November 8th 1980, she is an American musician best known as the founder, lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the punk rock band Against Me. In addition to Against Me, Grace fronts the band Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers, a solo project she started in 2016. Grace is notable for being one of the first highly visible punk rock musicians to come out as transgender, after she publicly came out in May 2012.

Against Me’s most well known album is New Wave, which was released in 2007 and produced by Butch Vig. The album debuted at #57 on the Billboard 200 on the week of its release. The album’s first single, “White People for Peace”, was released in May 2007, prior to the album’s release. A second single, “Thrash Unreal”, followed in July 2007. The song “Stop!” also received considerable airplay despite not being issued as a single. This album was followed up by White Crosses in 2010, which was also produced by Vig.

In 2012, Grace publicly came out as a transgender woman. After a long period of line-up changes and uncertainty surrounding the band’s future, their sixth studio album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues, was released independently in January 2014 to critical and commercial acclaim. The band’s seventh full-length, Shape Shift with Me, was released September 16, 2016.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
